I’m Haylie, creator of The Morning Buzz, but known by friends as ripped jean addict, coffee lover, big believer in girl power and a serial entrepreneur (it’s rare to see me without a pen and paper or laptop in hand). My Story In A Nutshell…

I’m a 22-year-old Journalism and Communications student, aspiring graphic designer, writer and proud puppy owner.

I worked at my town’s local newspaper for a year as a reporter before getting burned out. I had it all… a stable job and a nice apartment… but I was completely miserable and tired of the corporate world.

In January 2018 I quit my job, started college at a University and began my blogging journey. As a first-generation student in a new city, I was struggling to navigate college, but I eventually figured it out all by myself and turned my blogging passion into a successful business.

I use this blog to help other millennials navigate adulthood, achieve career success and reach their full potential in the process.

As a communicator at heart and believer in the power of storytelling, my purpose is to encourage the determination to create and share as a collective.
